All Saints' Episcopal Church
But do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. Hebrews 13:16 NRSV
Individually and as a congregation, the people of All Saints' work to bring material and spiritual comfort to our neighbors in need. Many parishioners find their life's work in the human services professions; in addition, you'll find our members serving as volunteers in local hospitals, shelters, schools, and other charitable organizations. As a church community, we invite you to bring canned food goods each Sunday morning for the food pantry at St. Paul's Paterson.
Our Outreach Ministries offer special opportunities for service, including a preparing and serving a quarterly dinner to the Men's Shelter at St. Paul's in Paterson and sponsoring an annual baby shower for the women and children of North Porch Shelter. Our high school youth and adult leaders from the parish participate in local building projects for Habitat for Humanity, as well as in weeklong mission trips to areas needing help in other parts of the United States. In addition, we give generously for special projects such as Habitat for Humanity, blankets for the homeless, and missionary projects throughout the world.
The Outreach Committee is made up of parishioners who look for ways for the parish as a whole to work on issues and projects that reflect our parish’s commitment to help others in our communities and the world beyond. Collectively, the Outreach committee identifies volunteer opportunities and provides financial support to both local and global organizations.
